ARTEAbasic is a flexible control system and at the same time the smallest system in the ARTEA® family. It essentially consists of an operating panel and a control cabinet.
Your automation task is processed by a fail-safe programmable logic controller. The input and output of the data, as well as the visualization, is done via a 7” TFT widescreen with touch function and individually adaptable user interface. In addition, eight freely programmable function keys are available.
All necessary operating elements, such as illuminated pushbuttons for the direction of movement, key switches for activating the system and the central emergency stop button, are integrated together with the touch screen in an impact-resistant plastic housing. The connection between the operating and control unit is made via a special crush-proof cable with plug. Originally developed for controlling simple motion sequences in stage and event technology, ARTEA®basic can also be used to automate production and testing processes in research and industrial technology.
All control components can be accommodated in a sheet steel housing or flight case, depending on the customer's requirements and the application. The latter makes ARTEA®basic mobile and roadworthy, especially for stage and event technology. The control system has already proven itself in all areas thanks to its compact design, intuitive operation and easy expandability. Separate interfaces are provided on each control cabinet for expansion. The individual control cabinets
are simply connected via the supplied cable set.
Configuration is done via a separate interface on the control panel. This means that no mechanical or electrical modifications are necessary to an existing ARTEA®basic system.
